Evening came and then morning

Number 2 in an ongoing series

The Father of Lights shone through the darkness,
and the light was called Day and the darkness was
called Night, and this was the first day, and he was
pleased, but He was not finished.

For chamber doors must separate waters of the
deep, creating air that His children may breathe.

Then He raised His arm and waved His hand, as
over the rush of waters He leaped, drawing the
cord and the curtain came down.

And again, God was pleased!

Evening and morning came, and this was the
second day!
