The summer solstice that marks the onset of summer!
Dear little heart – did I forget you? – Sad little heart –
did I leave you? – Brave little heart – did I forsake you?Happy little heart – I receive you!
Come close child, today will be our summer day
to laugh and play!
We will spend it together – visiting the sea – jumping
the waves – until the day has passed into the realm of
dreams – and deep – deep sleep rests – upon thee!
