dance of the butterflies 🦋 (poetry summer fun) 🌼

Hanging midst green leaves in their safe cocoons, butterflies emerge on a summer afternoon! Caressing in the air, preparing for
flight, the butterflies dance in summer summer sunlight.
Water from fountain
And stream bubble and

flow to the woodwinds
tune as all the little
creatures swoon.

The music takes them
higher, then bowing their heads and folding their wings, as night begins. Only to return in sunlight’s glow to dance the butterfly dance again!
