“I will lift up my eyes to the hills from where comes my help”
Psalm 121:1
A very long time ago a multitude of people journeyed over mountains and hills praying for strength and faith – continuing on To their beloved Jerusalem temple – Pausing on each stair with a song of praise –
Many historians believe that the 15 ‘Songs of Ascents’ were sung on the 15 stairs that exist in the ruins of Jerusalem today.
And as we press on in our earthly journey
We will praise Him on the mountain We will praise Him on the hills And we will praise Him when the mountain is in our way When our way seems difficult – and our days bring heartaches hard to bear And shadows fill our nights We will praise Him For in our journey – He guide us every step of the way
