⭐ an evening 🌟 star

February 23, 2024
Wishing God’s Blessings on this Sabbath Eve!
May we find rest during these peaceful hours!

There is a time between dusk and twilight as shadows fill the sky, the sun has grown weary, bowing its head and then dies. An evening star dressed in its gown of sparkling gold rises in the west, it is a happy star with a smile on its face. It feels important . . . holding up the sky. One night it gets tired and calls for help. “The weight of this sky is just too much . . .”

(selected verses) from the poem found in my book ‘God’s Story Book’*

I wonder, do we get weary – AND forget to call for help
– When life is just too much? 😊 😊 😊
