He entered the Temple where He had taught simple stories people could understand!
There is a story told long ago, in an ancient land
of a village set on a hill. The sun was setting and shadows gathering, with light streaming
from the windows of a house full of laughter.
Ten young virgins are sewing their gowns of silk and lace, for there is a wedding procession about to take place. There is excitement, for the bride is waiting for her groom. The night is far spent, and weary they all fall asleep. At midnight there is heard a cry,
waking abruptly smoothing their gowns
and plaiting their hair, they rush out the
door, their lamps trimmed and burning.
They all have oil in their lamps. As the night wore on, five had brought extra oil, but five had not. Running to the wise -“Give us of your oil” but the wise replied “No we cannot, lest we have not enough for ourselves, go into the village and buy oil for yourselves.” The five foolish virgins returned with their oil but the door to the banqet hall had been shut!
