greetings on this Easter morning

~ Ressurection Sunday ~
‘Weeping Mary’

Artist Harry Anderson – Mary and the Ressurected Lord

The first to peer in the empty tomb, swiftly she ran in the early morning. There was a stillness as
she paused, then hurried on
only to see in disbelief
the stone that had hidden her Lord was rolled away.
And as she stooped down
looking into the tomb

to her surprise, two
angels in white sat, one
at the head and one at
the foot where Jesus had laid. Saying “He is not here he is risen from the
dead, just as he had said”
“Why are you weeping Mary?”
“They have taken away my Lord, and I do not know
where he is” She replied!

She turned around thinking the gardner spoke as she heard the name “Mary” and she said “Teacher” and worshipped at his feet. Then running to his friends with the good news of the empty tomb!

May we be a ‘Mary Magdalene’ sharing the good news with those who grieve – Of loved ones gone – Who one day will hear the call “ARISE”-
Just as OUR LORD has risen on this EASTER DAY! ➕
