The earth was flat
until Aristotle

established the
fact –
‘The moon’s shadow
on earth’ proved
that wrong
For how could a
celestial body
circle the earth
if it were not
round?

After a time this
world through
man’s foul play
became corrupt
and upside
down

And the moon
thought

“How can I shine
on a world like
that?”

And slowly
withdrawing it
left a promise
“There will be no
more need of a
sun or moon”
“For there will
be no more night
nor day”

God’s face will
shine on a brand
new world set
upside right!
