October 31st Halloween

A big day of celebration sometimes
overshadowing another day
(And probably few will take the
time to read this post in light
of the excitement caught up
in the world)
A Celebration on October 31, 1517
A freedom that stunned the world!

FOR centuries this World lay in darkness
and fear of perdition tormented by
Religious heiarchy demanding men
pay indulgences to save
themselves and loved ones
from purgatory and hell!!

It was a mystical happeningfor a man
troubled with fears and doubts
Growing up in a medieval era in a German
village. One day traveling from his
home to Erfurt a violent storm
with thunder and lightning striking
close by in terror he called out
for help vowing to become a monk! !
