It happened while I was
sleeping, only yesterday
the branches were bare
Now an explosion of birth
a feud between leaves and
air
Whirling and spinning of
leaves
pushing the air aside a
million latching
teasing, reaching everywhere
A bird comes out to play
and when he sees the leaves
quicly flys away
The flowers nod their heads
and grin as the sun shifts
through the shade
AND
All this was going on while
I was sleeping!
